Nature at its best - Pomegranates

Ananta in Sanskrit means endless or Infinity.  For a photographer, this word relates to the symbol on the focus ring of the lens.  In my view, this symbol also represents the endless learning of this great art - a photographer is a student forever and Nature presenting infinite possibilities to capture images as a snapshot in time. I am excited to share my experiences with Nature Photography.

My name is Krishnan Parameswaran and I was born and raised in Ottapalam, Kerala, India.  I have been living in California for the past 40+ years.  After working in the energy industry for 35+ years, I am now retired.  I was fortunate to travel around the globe during my working years which gave me exposure to various cultures.  I am now pursuing Photography and Sanskrit Language studies as hobbies.  I was passionate about Photography while growing up.  I did not deep dive into this subject at that time.    Photography is a conglomeration of Science (Physics, Chemistry), art, environment and geography.  My passion is landscape photography, which allows me to travel to various places, observing subjects that are often ignored and making something out of it and develop a conversation with Nature.  Like Susan Sontag once said, "Photographs may be more memorable than moving images, because they are a neat slice of time, not a flow.  Each still photograph is a privileged moment turned into a slim object that one can keep and look at again".   I hope you will find some of these pictures interesting.
